Product Refurbishment

Your products will be reaired to a like-new state, rigourously tested and safely packaged.

We call this process ‘ product refurbishment ’, which consists of the following phases :

Product Cleaning Process

Before your product is repaired, it is disassembled and the parts are cleaned ultrasonically and the dried. For each product we determine which part should be cleaned.

Coating mechanical parts

If the outside of your product looks worn, like stains on keyboards, printer covers etc, we coat these parts like new.

Repair Process

In some mechanical parts, some sub-assemblies are always , for instance drive belts and gear wheels. Defective electronic parts are repaired in the electronic laboratory. After assembly the products are rigourously tested according to customers’ specifications.

Upgrade & Modification

During repair we determine whether your product needs an electronic upgrade or any mechanical mocdification. If so, these upgrades are executed. Alle repaired products are sent back to the customer with the most recent upgrades and modifications. Packaging Proces (Special packaging service)
To avoid damage during transport (O.B.F.), Feba Electronics developed special packaging materials for its customers. Depending on the weight and size of the repaired units, we determine the thickness and quality of the packaging material. Then we do the ‘drop-test’. After the test we determine if we shall use double boxes or if just a single box will do. If the customer wants, we print their logo and/or name on top of the box. All electronic products are packed in anti-static bags. Feba Electronics uses recyclable packaging materials.

Packaging Process

Labeling Proces

After packaging the label is printed. For every box we use two barcode labels. The labels have information like RMA number, part number and description of the products. If the customer so desires, more information can be printed on the labels.

Sample Test

When the products are ready to ship, a sample test is executed. Some random parts are selected from the batch and are extensively tested. If errors are found in this test, all parts are retested.

Shipment

Finally the packaged products are stacked on standard pallets and are sealed. To every pallet a package list is attached. Then the pallets are ready to ship, by road or air.
